VOWEL ENUNCIATION CHART
This simplified chart of fifteen vowels avoids the use of symbols. We have substituted respelling of the key words, in order to show the most widely acceptable pronunciation. Begin with the tone oh, as in the word tone itself. Sound off initial with a nice spherical oh and hold on to it. Now put the oh into the word by saying “tone” as tohn. Attempt the identical routine with:
